Army School of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering (ASEME) is located within the Albury Wodonga Military Area. It is home to the Army’s technicians and is where they gain their basic and advanced technical skills. ASEME utilises modern facilities and up to date equipment, complemented by dedicated instructional staff to ensure the delivery of Nationally Accredited Technical Training.
Graduates from ASEME training courses can achieve Certificate and Advanced Certificate levels in most trades. Advanced graduates can gain Advanced Diplomas and credits towards other tertiary qualifications. Their qualifications and skills stand them in good stead for their Army career and beyond.
ASEME conducts mechanical, electrical and building trade training for the Army. It is responsible for the Initial Trade Training as well as all promotion and specialist training for its graduates. ASEME facilities are unequalled in the Southern Hemisphere.
