Echoes of Grace · Kaku Drop with Sora

@KakuDropOfficial x Sora Showcase

Kaku Drop uses generative AI to create short films themed around “Japan,” “Women,” and “Dynamism.” With a unique aesthetic and seamless animations, their work captivates audiences, offering new perspectives and stories that transcend the boundaries of imagination and reality.

1️⃣ Sora is most powerful when:
“Sora was most effective in this project in handling dynamic camera work.”

2️⃣ The most exciting thing about what I created is:
“While many generative AIs struggle to create Japanese faces, Sora was able to produce beautiful Japanese faces.”

3️⃣ How Sora impacted the creative process:
“I work in video editing, and Sora has the potential to become one of my new video editing tools.”

4️⃣ How long it took me to make this / what my process looked like:
“Since it was my first project using Sora, it took about six days to complete. However, I believe I can create it in a shorter time next time. My production process involves using the Image to Video feature to add animations to AI-generated images. I then composite the generated videos using After Effects.”

5️⃣ What I want other artists to know about what it’s like to use Sora:“Even those who are not skilled in VFX can easily create expressions using Sora!”
