Euro Hawk® Unmanned Aircraft Completes Successful First Flight



Northrop Grumman’s first international RQ-4 Global Hawk configuration — Euro Hawk® — successfully completed its first flight June 29, 2010 from Palmdale, Calif., to Edwards AFB. The high-flying unmanned reconnaissance aircraft can fly for more than 32 hours at a time and reach an altitude of up to 60,000 feet.
