The Hamas terror organization manufactures, stores, and launches weapons among civilian areas in Gaza. This is a blatant violation of human rights—both Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad use Gazan civilians as human shields to protect their weapons by putting them in the direct line of fire.
Following Hamas’ relentless rocket attacks since May 10, 2021, Israel has had no choice but to defend itself. In contrast to its enemies, the IDF goes above and beyond international law to warn and protect Gazan civilians while striking terror targets in Gaza.
