How many casualties does it take? | General Breedlove

Speaking to Tom Newton Dunn and Katy Balls on T&G, NATO’s former supreme allied commander Europe General Breedlove said that Ukraine is fighting alone against Russia and called for a humanitarian no-fly zone above the country.

He said: “How many casualties are we going to see? Well, I think thats a question that we should be asking Western leaders.

“How many casualties does it take before we take a different approach to this war? You know, I think theres 42 million or so Ukrainians.

“Does it take 42 million to convince the West that, that we should have a different approach to this war?”

He added: “One new idea is this humanitarian no-fly zone, which would require some acceptance by Russia to allow humanitarian, we would actually hope that even in Mr Putins heart, he could find a way to agree to some humanitarian relief.”
