When Antonia F. came out, she realized there weren’t any museums solely dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community—so she decided to create one in VR. A self-taught developer, Antonia built a virtual museum that celebrates queer people by preserving their art, sentimental artifacts, and personal histories. Antonia designed the LGBTQ+ VR Museum to be a safe space that she needed, not realizing that thousands of others, all over the world, needed it too.
