No negotiation on hostage release until Israel aggression stops, says Hamas

An official for Hamas has said all parties have been informed that there will be no negotiation for a hostage release until Israel ends its bombardment in Gaza. The US had confirmed there had been very serious negotiations taking place in Egypt on a new Gaza ceasefire and the release of more Israeli hostages, but prospects for a deal have remained uncertain.
