The Pentagon says a “small number” of Russian forces have moved away from Kyiv in the last day or so, but believe its “a repositioning, not a real withdrawal.” “Nobody should be fooling ourselves by the Kremlins now-recent claim that it will suddenly just reduce military attacks near Kyiv or any reports that its going to withdraw all its forces,” Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby cautioned during a briefing.
