President Donald J. Trump posthumously awards the Medal of Honor to Air Force Tech. Sgt. John A. Chapman for extraordinary heroism during the March 2002 Battle of Takur Ghar in Afghanistan during a White House ceremony, Aug. 22, 2018. Chapman was then inducted into the Pentagon Hall of Heroes on Aug. 23, 2018.
