A Russian politician who opposes the war in Ukraine is trying to run against Vladymir Putin in the countrys March presidential elections.

Boris Nadezhdin needs at least 100,000 signatures from a minimum of 40 regions across Russia to be in the running – and is urging his supporters to get behind him.
