Residents of Rafah gathered to assess the damage after an Israeli airstrike that hit a house in the southern Gaza city, killing at least a dozen people, according to Palestinian health officials. The city, which had been home to 200,000 people, now hosts more than half of Gaza’s 2.4 million population.
