三菱重工グラフ171号 MHI NEWS! 2013年1月、三菱重工・横浜製作所において、画期的な油圧ドライブトレインを採用した風力発電設備の実証試験がスタートした。近年、世界では再生可能エネルギーに対する期待から、風力発電の導入が急増している。そうした中、三菱重工は「世界初」となるデジタル可変容量制御動力伝達機構（DDT（注））を用いた油圧ドライブトレインを開発。これは、NEDO（独立行政法人新エネルギー・産業技術総合開発機構）のバックアップのもと、2011年9月から進めている「洋上風車用新型油圧ドライブトレインの開発」の中で生まれたものだ。今回の実証試験を経て、世界最大級の「7メガワット級の大型風力発電設備」実現を加速させる。 http://www.mhi.co.jp/discover/graph/news/no171.html

The first domestic IGCC plant was entirely resourced by just one company, with MHI supplying everything including the basic design, the gasifier, the gas turbine and the plant engineering.
