The Good Old Mavics (and the young guys who fly them)

Mavic was the first drone the Armed Forces of Ukraine began using on a large scale at the front. At first, its main purpose was reconnaissance, then artillery correction, and eventually tactical bombing. And even though FPV drones have taken over the spotlight, the venerable Mavic remains the main workhorse on Ukrainian battlefields.

And if you ask the bombermen of the “Divine Punishment” UAV Battalion of the 54th Brigade, the old wedding-video drone still packs a mean punch. (Although in this particular case, the people flying them are even more interesting than the drones themselves.)
