3. A Hong Kong court on Monday ordered the liquidation of property giant China Evergrande Group, dealing a fresh blow to confidence in the countrys fragile property market as policymakers step up efforts to contain a deepening crisis.

4. North Korea tested its new submarine-launched cruise missiles on Sunday, firing an upgraded missile for the second time in a week and accelerating its navys nuclear armament, state media reported.

5. France said it would push to ease European Union environmental regulations on fallow farmland this week, as tractors blocked major highways out of Paris on Monday and nationwide farmers protests intensified.
