UK government ‘very concerned’ about Israels planned offensive in Rafah

Cameron said many people in Rafah had already fled from other areas of Gaza and said there was nowhere else for them to go. Israels prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has claimed Israel will be moving forward with the ground campaign but has insisted that plans are still being worked on. A ground operation in Rafah could cut off one of the only routes available for badly needed medical and food supplies to reach civilians in Gaza.
