Ukrainian journalist Daria Kaleniuk begged for a no-fly zone to be enforced and said “Britain guaranteed our security under Budapest memorandum” as she urged for military assistance from the UK during a press conference in Warsaw, Poland on Tuesday. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson responded saying “I cannot pretend to you that this is going to be something that the UK can fix by military means”, adding that helping Ukraine would mean “direct combat with Russia” which is not something they “envisaged”.
