2022年2月25日、川崎重工が建造した世界初の液化水素運搬船「すいそ ふろんてぃあ」が、オーストラリアから褐炭由来の液化水素を積載して「Hy touch神戸」に無事帰港しました。世界初の液化水素の長距離海上輸送実証試験は完了しましたが、川崎重工はHySTRA※の一員として、引き続き荷役試験や取得データの検証を行い、2030年の国際水素サプライチェーン構築に向けたパイロット実証事業を継続していきます。

On February 25, 2022, the Suiso Frontier, built by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, returned to “Hy touch Kobe” in Japan, with a cargo of liquefied hydrogen generated from Victorian coal. Marking the world’s first completion of maritime transportation of liquefied hydrogen over long-distances with the Suiso Frontier, as a member of HySTRA *, Kawasaki will continue to test cargo handling and conduct data verification to ensure a successful outcome for the project to achieve our vision of building a global hydrogen supply chain.
