Thales has been a pioneering force in the design and production of IESIs (Integrated Electronic Standby Instruments) for more than 20 years. The IESI provides pilots with backup speed, altitude and other essential information to ensure safe flights.

The Thales IESI already flies on board 30,000 planes and helicopters around the world. The future looks equally bright with the new-generation IESI being selected by Airbus Helicopters to equip their new civil and military helicopters, with entry into service from 2026 onwards!
