Accusations of antisemitism against ICC are unacceptable, says EU foreign policy chief

Josep Borrell has said a ruling by the international criminal court ordering Israel to halt its military assault on the city of Rafah must be implemented, adding that accusations of antisemitism launched by the Israeli government were completely not acceptable.

The EU foreign policy chief called on global leaders to respect the decision of the ICC last week to file applications for arrest warrants for the Hamas leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, and the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, a move that enraged the latter.
