Mind if we ‘drop in’? 🪂 #ICYMI ️ Australian Army’s Red Berets parachute display team from the #YourADF Parachuting School swooped into the new Allianz Stadium in Sydney to deliver the match ball for the Roosters vs Dragons V NRL game on #anzacday2023 . 🫡
Trailing red smoke, the three Red Berets negotiated tricky winds above the stadium before swooping inside its narrow roof opening to land safely on target in front of the 40,000 near-capacity crowd. Former Roosters captain and coach, Brad Fittler, was on hand to accept the match ball from the Red Berets.
The Red Berets was formed in May 1974 and, today, is made up of Army instructors and staff from the Australian Defence Force Parachuting School. The ADF has a long and proud history of personnel parachuting dating back to #WWII and, today, the women and men of the ADF Parachuting School continue to provide professional parachute training to #ausnavy , #ausarmy and #ausairforce personnel.
