Blinken dismisses Israel genocide allegation as meritless

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken dismissed a case filed by South Africa against Israel at the International Court of Justice accusing it of genocide, calling the allegations “meritless” and saying they distract from efforts to improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
