With the war in Ukraine on its sixth day, the pair analyses whether Britain is raising up to the challenge that the war poses.
Daniel Finkelstein said: “It will be a big moral question about how much risk were willing to take ourselves in a nuclear situation to defend the Ukrainian population, and its right to independence.”
David Aaronovitch added: “Resilience is absolutely going to be the key word that we have to look at in all kinds of ways over the next five to 10 years.”
