Exercise Croix Du Sud 23 wraps up



At the invitation of the French Armed Forces in New Caledonia (FANC), Australia is contributing over 240 personnel from the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to Exercise Croix Du Sud 2023 (CDS).

Held in New Caledonia from 24 April to 06 May 2023, CDS23 is a multilateral humanitarian and disaster relief (HADR) exercise, led by the French Armed Forces in New Caledonia which supports an enduring contribution to HADR operations in the Pacific region. 19 nations will participate in CDS23 as active participants or observers. Participants include France, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Fiji, Vanuatu, Tonga, Papua New Guinea, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Indonesia.
