IAI ADA – Top-Notch Jam-Resistant GNSS System for Airborne Platforms

https://www.iai.co.il/p/ada

The ADA Anti-Jamming System hardens military platforms against GNSS jamming to ensure GNSS availability and functional GNSS-based navigation, communication, and EW systems, even in the face of attack from GPS jammers or other methods of interference.

Modern navigation, communication and EW systems critically depend on GNSS availability for Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT). When interference occurs, intentional or otherwise, it can render PNT-dependent applications unusable or seriously degrade their functionality, making assured PNT a critical requirement, and highlighting the need for a robust GNSS Anti-Jamming solution to enable continuous operation in a jammed environment.

IAI has over 20 years of proven experience in supplying top-tier GNSS and Anti-Jam solutions for the most demanding requirements, and vast experience in integration immune navigation solutions into airborne (manned and UAV), surface, maritime and guided munitions.

As part of its portfolio, MLM offers an End – to – End GNSS Anti-Jamming solution, which includes the following capabilities:
Testing, simulation and validation environment.
Cutting edge technology available today, achieving the highest possible jamming resistance.
Integration support to all types of receivers / navigation systems / platforms.

The ADA system maintains assured PNT by overcoming GPS jamming, and ensuring that the platform can continue operation with consistent GNSS availability. ADA uses advanced digital signal processing techniques to provide high levels of immunity, even in severe and dynamic multi-jammer scenarios. ADA provides multi-band jamming immunity. The system is operational, was rigorously tested and validated both in laboratory tests and in the field, and is in use in a range of operational systems.

The ADA modular architecture supports Multi-GNSS and GPS M-Code. Systems can be provisioned as either an integrated immune GNSS receiver, or as an independent RF add-on, through RF connection to any 3rd party GNSS receiver (GPS, IRNSS, GLONASS, Galileo e.g.). This allows a plug-and-play installation on top of existing GNSS systems.
