Israel issues evacuation order in parts of Khan Younis, displacing Palestinians again

Israel has issued evacuation orders for parts of Khan Younis, an area that was home to 117,000 people, as it prepares to expand its ground offensive into the southern parts of the territory.

Khan Younis is the largest city in southern Gaza. Palestinians who moved south after being displaced by fighting in northern Gaza have found themselves forced to move again, with the UN estimating that almost 75% of the population of Gaza has been displaced.
