The Australian Army’s 3rd Brigade deployed to the Townsville Field Training Area to conduct their second major training exercise for 2023, Exercise Brolga Run from 27th of April – 19th of May.
Over 1500 Townsville-based troops were put to the test on how to conduct stability, security, and evacuation operations against a simulated enemy.
Exercise Brolga Run is the second of several training activities for 2023, as the 3rd Brigade prepares for Exercise Talisman Sabre with the US military and other partner forces later in the year.
