Putin’s ‘brutal’ warning is explicitly clear, says RUSI fellow

“This is a message sent to wider society, to the Russians, that anyone who will be willing to go against the regime and to oppose Putin or criticise him might face the same fate as Navalny himself.”

Associate Fellow at RUSI Natia Seskuria says it will be “very hard for people to mobilise themselves against the regime while the risks are so high”.
