Rishi Sunak says British citizens among dead and missing after Hamas ‘pogrom’ in Israel

“The elderly, men, women, children, babes in arms, murdered, mutilated, burned alive. We should call it by its name. It was a pogrom.”

In a statement in parliament, Rishi Sunak said that he supported absolutely Israels right to defend itself, to go after Hamas, take back hostages. The prime minister said the British government is increasing its aid to the Palestinian people by a third with 10 million pounds.
