The annual Sanctuary Awards recognise outstanding sustainability and conservation efforts across the Ministry of Defence estate. Sanctuary Awards have been recognising outstanding contributions to conservation across the Ministry of Defence (MOD) since 1991 and to sustainability since 2008. The Sanctuary Awards 2021 ceremony will be held as a virtual event following the success of the 2020 event. The Awards will be presented by Jeremy Quin, Minister for Defence Procurement and James Clare, Director Climate Change & Sustainability.
