Shadow environment secretary Victoria Atkins says her party will vote against the proposed rise in employers’ national insurance contributions.

Trevor Phillips put it to her that the party under Kemi Badenoch is returning to the “Tory party of the past”, with their opposition to VAT on private schools, winter fuel payment cuts and national insurance rises.
