U.S. Rejects United Nations Ceasefire Resolution: This Is Not The Time

Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield said “this is not the time” for a ceasefire as the United Nations considers a resolution to stop fighting in Gaza. The U.S. proposed an alternative resolution that pressures “Hamas to take the hostage deal that is on the table and help secure a pause that allows humanitarian assistance to reach Palestinian civilians.”
