US veto of UN ceasefire resolution is ‘enabling open-ended Israeli war’

“They [UK and US] are enabling what is now an open ended Israeli war, which is against Hamas, but against Gaza civilians.”

The US vetoing, and the UK abstaining from the UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza is a form of enabling Israel, says Professor of American Studies, Scott Lucas.
