*Translator’s notes:*

“Goddamn chopper!” — note a line of explosions on the horizon. A helicopter just fired a payload of unguided rockets.

MON-50 — a Soviet 2kg claymore with an effective range of 50 meters. While claymores (directional antipersonnel mines), are typically triggered manually, the MON-50 can be equipped with a seismic trigger to prevent any close approach for clearance operations. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MON-50

PKM (aka “Pokemon”) — a 7.62 mm Kalashnikov machine gun.

VOG — VOG-25, a high-explosive grenade for the under-barrel grenade launcher for the AK-74. You can see the GP-25 launcher attached to “Datsyk’s” rifle.
