EU Candidate Status: Zelensky Confident Ukraine Will Get Positive Answer

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Wednesday that he does not doubt that a “positive decision” will be made for Ukraines European Union candidacy. The candidacy opens the door for the country to become a member of the bloc. EU leaders are meeting in Brussels on Thursday to discuss the decision.
