The US has said it agrees with Western allies that Irans supply of explosive drones to Russia violates UN sanctions.

Kyiv was struck by so-called “kamikaze” drones on Monday, which are believed to be Iranian-made.

The US, France and the UK believe the drones violate UN Security Council Resolution 2231.

That resolution, linked to Irans nuclear accord, bars Iranian transfers of certain military technologies.
